Just Talk Audio Messenger.

If you didn't know, perhaps now is the time to know. We've finally Made just Talk audio messenger 100% functional and 99.9% bug free. Now we can continue to improve user experience and add our planned features.

For those who didn't know, Just Talk - audio messenger as the name implies is a Direct messaging app for Voice messages only. Not everyone likes how they sound when they record a Voice note so we've tackled that problem by allowing users change how they sound with a selection of voice filters in the app. All direct messages on Just Talk are deleted automatically after 24 hours regardless of wether they've been opened or not. There are emojis by each message to let you know the status of your messages. The emojis will let you know when a message has been opened, is being left unopened within 24 hours and after 24 hours. Just Talk Audio Messenger also allows you to share fun stories with the world, with its"cast" feature. The Cast feature is like a Facebook & twitter timeline/YouTube page but for Audio/voice updates only. users will be able to edit the title of their updates and use hashtags. users can tell the number of times an audio message on the cast has been played.

Feel free to join the thousands on it. Just Talk Audio Messenger is completely free.
We'll let you know what's next and new as time goes by.

improved user experience and Voice filters on android in a few hours

Hello everyone. we've been working quite a lot and would like to let you know we've done a lot. A lot to improve user experience. What to expect.

The record page has changed. new icons have been added. Firstly we've integrated the audio playback controls to the record screen so, now you can select more of your contacts even after recording your message. Before once you've selected a contact/your contacts (recipient), its impossible to edit the options once you've recorded your  message, however you can now do that. Its possible one message is meant for more people and it's possible to only realise that after recording your message.

We've made app react better to certain actions you make on the app. better response upon recording and sending a message.

New playback popup on timeline and cast page.

New accessible seek bar. You can now skip to any part of the message you like.

You can now pause a message, leave the app, return and continue playing the message from where you left off (as long as you do not close the app and you access the app from your recent apps)

5 new voice filters: Santa (it's Christmas season so that was necessary), chipmunk, alien, auto-tune and Alien.

bugs fixes.

here's a sneak peek in pictures.

Knowing you app (Part 22) New Update 1.3 now available on the app store. Get Updating

Hello and Happy Sunday to everyone. Some of you may already know this as it has been available since yesterday evening, but to those who don't We have released a new update containing some new features. Bug fixes, messages will now send a little bit faster (less chances for server error). we have expanded our server space because we almost had a full server a couple of days ago, Notification badge issues solved (the numbers would now appear correctly in relation to the number of unopened messages not just a default 7, New icons for "robot" (it may no longer be called robot as we're currently working on a much realistic robot voice), a new filter which is similar to normal voice, but a lot louder (some people complained the normal voice was a bit harder to hear when they're outdoors and want to make their friends listen to a message they received. I hope you all enjoy the new update. Other new ones coming soon. Happy Sunday once again. I wish everyone a wonderful Week ahead!!!

Knowing your app (part 19). the blurry effect : What does that mean?

For the already existing users who may have already noticed or not, the settings page/screen, the profile page/screen and the record page/screen seems to have a very similar theme. That theme is what we call the blurry effect. All three pages mentioned above apear to be floating on some silver patch. If you touch any part of the silver patch, you would be taken back to the back to the Homepage/landing page/timeline page of the app. Some users do not know how to get back to the timeline page once they've clicked on any of the icons at the top of the screen. The idea if the blurry effects which will be optimised in future indicates that all three pages mentioned above apear on top of the home screen/page. The pictures below higlighes the arears. Try now to explore.

Knowing your app (part 18) change how you sound: Voice filter

Sincere apologies for not being able to post in a while, I have been unbelievably busy for the past few days.. But anyways let's go back to what we came here to read.

So far we've learnt about the app screens, how to add new friends, how to listen to your messages and how to send messages. As one of the app's major features is the ability to change how you sound we've decided to teach you how to do that in this post. This would probably be fun for most people. Using the voice filters is relatively easy also. To use to filters in the app we have to be familiar with the filter page (picture would be shown below). Getting to the filter page is really easy. once you've been logged in the app, simply swipe left from any page/screen in the app and you would be taken to the filter page which would contain a selection of filters (more would be added as time goes buy). select anyone you please and hit the "back" icon to go back to timeline page/screen, Record a new message and experience the difference. Note: upon selection of desired filter, a text would be displayed at the bottom of the screen showing the name of the filter you have selected.

Another way to get to the filter page/screen is from the timeline page/screen. Tap on the icon (double arrow pointing to the left) at the bottom right of the screen and you would be taken to the "filter page"

announcement: there might be some delays with one of our updates because we are currently exploring a couple of voice filters and working on the noise some of our users hear in many of their messages.

knowing your app (part 15) downloading and listening to your messages

I may have not gone through sending a new message just yet, but it will come soon. For now we will focus on downloading and playing receieved messages. This is because you may add me and I will send you a message immediately. Like I explained in earlier posts, feel free to send me a friend request on the app. My user name is "keshjacobs". downloading a message is very easy. On the timeline page/screen all the = information are clear and easy to understand. names/usernames of app users will appear here as well as indications for opened, unopened or deleted messages (more info in the "timeline page/screen") above. At the moment, receieved message will have an arrow facing the left. To download the message tap on the name/username bar. the message should begin downloading at that point, and a message saying "downloading" should appear immediately, if any other thing appears, please tap on it again. After downloading the message should change to "ready to play" tap on it to play the message. You would be able to play the message as many times as you want under 24 hours and the message underneath the Name/username should say "receieved" and the smiley besisdes the image would change. love and share the experience to the world. The instruction might look long as you read this post, but it is really easy to understand. I can very much assure you that you would be a pro in the first few seconds.

notice the smileys arrows and the texts in the picture below.
