Equal level of satisfaction for eveyone

Currently most social network platforms are only supportive of people who can see. They may not be able to read and write but may still be able to get a high level of satisfaction from using those platforms. Sadly, not all can see. many can't see, they can't read and write in the case where there are a lot of texts involved. I'm some other cases dyslexic people may not be able to view important content because they have difficulties reading texts. Sometimes it may be a bit time consuming. you cannot go through your timeline without spending a couple of minutes in many cases hours doing anything else. Goin through social media these days means you have a lot of spare time because people spend a lot of time on them. In the case of Just Talk now, you might need to spend a couple of minutes looking for the right audio but once you find it, you can carry on with what you were doing. This is because you can listen and do something else at the same time. In future this would even be made better with perfect integration with Siri, amazon alexia and other smart speakers. specific voice commands can be made to find specific or a number of Casts even without touching your phone. You will be able to go through your timeline without going looking at your phone. Direct messages will be even better. Easy direct messaging with your voice. The smart speakers will not have to bother about converting your spoken words to text as it will spend most times recording compared to recording and converting. There will be no need to try and change the spoken words into texts for the receiving end because the receiving end is audio only also. No texts involve. Because of this audio features of Just Talk we feel many people will (regardless of their visual problems or inability to read and write) get equal satisfaction on Just Talk.

as I always do for the newcomers, I'll describe JUST TALK . It is an audio only social media app for those who love anything audio. For those who would Love it in future and for those who just don't know yet. It's open to all and everyone will be able to use it in anyway that suits well with them. This social media app JUST TALK allows you to share your voice without showing your face. you can share your voice by broadcasting it to everyone with our CAST feature which you would see in this video or you can share your voice by sending it through direct messages to your contacts on the app. you can also change how you sound with a selection of our voice filters. It's a new concept that makes audio chatting way more fun than people imagined.  All uploaded casts will remain on the server forever but all direct messages are automatically deleted after 24 hours. We Have a sneak preview oh what Just talk would Look like in the next coming week. We have evolved from a direct messaging app to a social media app that allows Direct messages. We did this by making the cast Page the main page. This will be your new landing page when you open the app. We are also improving the entire user interface of the app. It would look much more beautiful and User friendly. Today we shall be showing you a preview of the new homepage, your New DM page and the record page. . I'm convinced you'll like it.

Hello everyone. Merry Christmas and Happy New year in advance. So far we've listened and loved all your feedbacks. All have been super helpful and great! Just Talk Audio Messenger is NOT complete yet, we have so many features to add but to do that we have to be satisfied with the current version of the app. In the next Coming days we would be improving certain things which had the most complaints. The settings page and the sign up page. Then we would move to the recording page. Not everyone has been a fan of that so far so some amendments would be made (we may be looking at an entirely new look for this pages). Just Talk Audio Messenger.

If you didn't know, perhaps now is the time to know. We've finally Made just Talk audio messenger 100% functional and 99.9% bug free. Now we can continue to improve user experience and add our planned features.

For those who didn't know, Just Talk - audio messenger as the name implies is a Direct messaging app for Voice messages only. Not everyone likes how they sound when they record a Voice note so we've tackled that problem by allowing users change how they sound with a selection of voice filters in the app. All direct messages on Just Talk are deleted automatically after 24 hours regardless of wether they've been opened or not. There are emojis by each message to let you know the status of your messages. The emojis will let you know when a message has been opened, is being left unopened within 24 hours and after 24 hours. Just Talk Audio Messenger also allows you to share fun stories with the world, with its"cast" feature. The Cast feature is like a Facebook & twitter timeline/YouTube page but for Audio/voice updates only. users will be able to edit the title of their updates and use hashtags. users can tell the number of times an audio message on the cast has been played.

improved user experience and Voice filters on android in a few hours

Hello everyone. we've been working quite a lot and would like to let you know we've done a lot. A lot to improve user experience. What to expect.

The record page has changed. new icons have been added. Firstly we've integrated the audio playback controls to the record screen so, now you can select more of your contacts even after recording your message. Before once you've selected a contact/your contacts (recipient), its impossible to edit the options once you've recorded your  message, however you can now do that. Its possible one message is meant for more people and it's possible to only realise that after recording your message.

We've made app react better to certain actions you make on the app. better response upon recording and sending a message.

New playback popup on timeline and cast page.

New accessible seek bar. You can now skip to any part of the message you like.

You can now pause a message, leave the app, return and continue playing the message from where you left off (as long as you do not close the app and you access the app from your recent apps)

5 new voice filters: Santa (it's Christmas season so that was necessary), chipmunk, alien, auto-tune and Alien.

Just Talk Version 1.0.1 update now available on the AppStore

In other for the app to run properly, the app needs permission to use your phone's storage and microphone. The app is only 10mb large and temporarily stores your audio messages in the phone hence it need extra storage. The only amount required is 22mb (making a total of 32, not much). The reason it needs your microphone is however quite obvious as it is an audio messaging app.

In the previous version you had to go all the way to your phone settings, find the app there and give permission and this could deter new users because many would not know what's going on. Don't want people thinking the app doesn't work. We had to improve on that. Now you can do that from the app like every other app. You would only be required to do this once as long as you do not uninstall the app.

Good News!!! Just Talk is now available on PlayStore (android)

Hello everyone, the wait is officially over!! we have perfected the first version for Google play store and it is now available for download.  New things have been added and current things have been improved. Enjoy voice messages with friends and family. With the first official version we introduce CAST. Upload an audio and watch your listeners increase. please free to inform us of any bugs. Awesome New Android test Version Available for download

Hello everyone, Like I point out earlier we're working and we're making changes. The latest version comes out with a Bang! minor bugs expected but all is still well. Please before installing this version Uninstall previous version first. It simply allows this version to run smoothly. You would be required to give permission for app to use your phone's microphone and storage again so please do this by going to your phone's settings page and give permission

What's new:

• new server settings (migrated to new server)
• Send and receive messages easily
• Cast yourself to everyone around the world. Record, upload and watch your listeners increase. once you select cast and upload your a message, your message would be uploaded to the cast page where everyone on the server would be able to listen in. You would be able to see how many times your cast has been played.

The tittle says it all. We're currently improving the app and pushing things really quickly. As we're still little this would affect the app's functionality hence why we've pulled it from the appstore while the changes are being made. However, for android users, this would be a bit different. we're expecting a fully functional android version to arrive by Next week.

Just talk: What's next

Hello Everyone. Some of you may already know what's coming next with our app and what the Long and short term plan of Just Talk entails. However not everyone knows. Hence the purpose of this blog. We will make sure you're not missing out. The early version of this app is already available for iPhones and iPods on the Appstore and you can quickly  download it by clicking on this link to download the app for free. However the version of the app that would first receive just talk's wonderful additional features would be the Android versions. At the moment just Talk is available for IOS and Android (check Instructions and download Link for Android version at the bottom of this post.) All you can do with the app are the following: Create and account, log in, log out, search for a friend, add a friend, reject or accept friend request, send and receive messages, delete a friend, block and unblock a friend and finally flag a friend. Hello everyone. firstly I would Like to say a big Thank you to everyone who downloaded the app. Its honestly not a straight forward process to download the app on your android phone at the moment, but the response and downloads from the Last post was great!!. So far have been some upgrades and there will be many more.

Knowing your app (part 47). Do you know what the smileys mean?

Just Talk is a messaging app for audio messing only. Users can listen to their messages as many times as they please within 24 hours of when they were sent. For all those who may be wondering what the smileys (emojis) by your messages mean, I have the answer. As some of us may already know, all messages get deleted automatically after 24 hours. For this purpose we need some sort of indicator to tell us if our messages are still available to be viewed. There are currently three major emojis in the Just talk app as seen in the picture below.

The next picture below is the smile emoji which indicates that a message has been sent/received but is yet to be opened. As long as the emoji remains like this the receiver and even the sender can listen to their messages as many times as they please. it will only change if the recipient opens the message within 24 hours or if the recipient fails to open the message after 24 hours.

Next is the grin emoji. This is the one you will see once the recipient listens to your message(s). once the emoji changes to this, it will not change to anything else even after 24 hours. both the sender and the receiver can listen to the messages as many times as they please when the emoji is like this within 24 hours. The message will still be unavailable after 24 hours but the emoji will remain the same.

Lastly is the ignorance spotter, not very friendly emoji I must say(purple evil smile emoji). It helps you easily spot who's ignored you. This is the emoji most people would not like to see. especially if its an important message. Like I explained earlier, all messages will be deleted automatically after 24 hours. After 24 hours an unopened message will be automatically deleted and this changes the emoji besides the message from the smile emoji to the purple evil smile emoji as shown below. No one will have access to the message at this point.

well now you know your Just talk emojis so you can continue using the app for the fun and important things you use them for. The more the merrier so feel free to invite all your friends to join you in the new line of motivation.

Knowing your app (part 44) Breeze through the week.

Friday is literally knocking on the door so I believe there are alot of smiles on our faces. Its been a busy week so far although it's been very short but we've all prevailed anyways, i'm quite convinced. I have something I will really love to share to you guys. it's a screen record on how to show a specific feature of the app (Just cast). Knowing your app (part 39). TGIF

It was a very fast week. we only had 4 days of work. fridays will never stop putting smiles on everyone's faces. It also Put a smile on my face not cause there will be no work as work never stops for me, but because I discovered a new way to make Just Talk - DTJT a lot more interesting. The possiblilities with is app are endless and they shall begin to unfold in time as I keep working on the app. Very soon we shall begin to appreciate the fact that we were a part of this. I have not been able to make posts for the past few days as i've been too busy enjoying the long weekend just like everyone else. It was my birthday on easter sunday so thank to all the christsians who celebrated it aswell. Big thank you to all my well wishers. I got one super surprise also (picture is bellow). It will be a short week Guys so less complaints, there were fewer monday complaints yesterday so we should be okay today aswell. Best of days everyone.

Knowing your app (part 36) Another new update. version 1.5

Hello world, I thought I'd leave somthing cool for you guys to tke into easter. A new version of Just talk. there should be no problems with notifications whatsoever. It has now been completely fixed as we had to re-write the codes for this.We are still working on a better and more improved cast. We believe it would be done by next week. With the cast feature you will be able to record, upload and share audio files even if you have no friend's on the app. You will be able to view the number of times your cast upload has been replayed and share this on facebook in the nearest future. For now we hope you keep enjoying and using the app. Happy easter in advance.
