Hello everyone. Merry Christmas and Happy New year in advance. So far we've listened and loved all your feedbacks. All have been super helpful and great! Just Talk Audio Messenger is NOT complete yet, we have so many features to add but to do that we have to be satisfied with the current version of the app. In the next Coming days we would be improving certain things which had the most complaints. The settings page and the sign up page. Then we would move to the recording page. Not everyone has been a fan of that so far so some amendments would be made (we may be looking at an entirely new look for this pages). Just Talk Audio Messenger.

If you didn't know, perhaps now is the time to know. We've finally Made just Talk audio messenger 100% functional and 99.9% bug free. Now we can continue to improve user experience and add our planned features.

For those who didn't know, Just Talk - audio messenger as the name implies is a Direct messaging app for Voice messages only. Not everyone likes how they sound when they record a Voice note so we've tackled that problem by allowing users change how they sound with a selection of voice filters in the app. All direct messages on Just Talk are deleted automatically after 24 hours regardless of wether they've been opened or not. There are emojis by each message to let you know the status of your messages. The emojis will let you know when a message has been opened, is being left unopened within 24 hours and after 24 hours. Just Talk Audio Messenger also allows you to share fun stories with the world, with its"cast" feature. The Cast feature is like a Facebook & twitter timeline/YouTube page but for Audio/voice updates only. users will be able to edit the title of their updates and use hashtags. users can tell the number of times an audio message on the cast has been played.

Can't say our app is without bugs, so we're constantly fixing it till the word "perfection" can be used to describe the app "Just Talk - audio messenger". In addition to fixing all the bugs, we also try to include at least on new feature to improve user experience and gradually let in on what the app is all about.

What's new.

• You will now be able to edit the title of your cast.
• You would now be able search the cast page by username/tittle/hashtags to find those who you want to listen to.
• New user interface in the search page (the age where you send people friend requests).
• Bug fixes in the search page. there would no longer issues search for friends by names or usernames.
• Timeline and cast pages would only load 30 messages at a time. more would be loaded only when you need it. simply scroll to the bottom of the page to load more.

improved user experience and Voice filters on android in a few hours

Hello everyone. we've been working quite a lot and would like to let you know we've done a lot. A lot to improve user experience. What to expect.

The record page has changed. new icons have been added. Firstly we've integrated the audio playback controls to the record screen so, now you can select more of your contacts even after recording your message. Before once you've selected a contact/your contacts (recipient), its impossible to edit the options once you've recorded your  message, however you can now do that. Its possible one message is meant for more people and it's possible to only realise that after recording your message.

We've made app react better to certain actions you make on the app. better response upon recording and sending a message.

New playback popup on timeline and cast page.

New accessible seek bar. You can now skip to any part of the message you like.

You can now pause a message, leave the app, return and continue playing the message from where you left off (as long as you do not close the app and you access the app from your recent apps)

5 new voice filters: Santa (it's Christmas season so that was necessary), chipmunk, alien, auto-tune and Alien.

Just Talk Version 1.0.1 update now available on the AppStore

In other for the app to run properly, the app needs permission to use your phone's storage and microphone. The app is only 10mb large and temporarily stores your audio messages in the phone hence it need extra storage. The only amount required is 22mb (making a total of 32, not much). The reason it needs your microphone is however quite obvious as it is an audio messaging app.

In the previous version you had to go all the way to your phone settings, find the app there and give permission and this could deter new users because many would not know what's going on. Don't want people thinking the app doesn't work. We had to improve on that. Now you can do that from the app like every other app. You would only be required to do this once as long as you do not uninstall the app.

Update your app now to get this feature.

Hello everyone, the wait is officially over!! we have perfected the first version for Google play store and it is now available for download.  New things have been added and current things have been improved. Enjoy voice messages with friends and family. With the first official version we introduce CAST. Upload an audio and watch your listeners increase. please free to inform us of any bugs. Awesome New Android test Version Available for download

Hello everyone, Like I point out earlier we're working and we're making changes. The latest version comes out with a Bang! minor bugs expected but all is still well. Please before installing this version Uninstall previous version first. It simply allows this version to run smoothly. You would be required to give permission for app to use your phone's microphone and storage again so please do this by going to your phone's settings page and give permission

• new server settings (migrated to new server)
• Send and receive messages easily
• Cast yourself to everyone around the world. Record, upload and watch your listeners increase. once you select cast and upload your a message, your message would be uploaded to the cast page where everyone on the server would be able to listen in. You would be able to see how many times your cast has been played.

The IOS version of the app will not be available for a limited from today. Were're making big changes

The tittle says it all. We're currently improving the app and pushing things really quickly. As we're still little this would affect the app's functionality hence why we've pulled it from the appstore while the changes are being made. However, for android users, this would be a bit different. we're expecting a fully functional android version to arrive by Next week.

Just talk: What's next

Hello Everyone. Some of you may already know what's coming next with our app and what the Long and short term plan of Just Talk entails. However not everyone knows. Hence the purpose of this blog. We will make sure you're not missing out. The early version of this app is already available for iPhones and iPods on the Appstore and you can quickly  download it by clicking on this link to download the app for free. However the version of the app that would first receive just talk's wonderful additional features would be the Android versions. At the moment just Talk is available for IOS and Android (check Instructions and download Link for Android version at the bottom of this post.) Hello, everyone. we're at the stage where we would love you to follow us on every stage of our development process. Thanks to your feedback we've been able to make the following changes.

Knowing your app (part 47). Do you know what the smileys mean?

Just Talk is a messaging app for audio messing only. Users can listen to their messages as many times as they please within 24 hours of when they were sent. For all those who may be wondering what the smileys (emojis) by your messages mean, I have the answer. As some of us may already know, all messages get deleted automatically after 24 hours. For this purpose we need some sort of indicator to tell us if our messages are still available to be viewed. There are currently three major emojis in the Just talk app as seen in the picture below.

The next picture below is the smile emoji which indicates that a message has been sent/received but is yet to be opened. As long as the emoji remains like this the receiver and even the sender can listen to their messages as many times as they please. it will only change if the recipient opens the message within 24 hours or if the recipient fails to open the message after 24 hours.

Next is the grin emoji. This is the one you will see once the recipient listens to your message(s). once the emoji changes to this, it will not change to anything else even after 24 hours. both the sender and the receiver can listen to the messages as many times as they please when the emoji is like this within 24 hours. The message will still be unavailable after 24 hours but the emoji will remain the same.

Lastly is the ignorance spotter, not very friendly emoji I must say(purple evil smile emoji). It helps you easily spot who's ignored you. This is the emoji most people would not like to see. especially if its an important message. Like I explained earlier, all messages will be deleted automatically after 24 hours. After 24 hours an unopened message will be automatically deleted and this changes the emoji besides the message from the smile emoji to the purple evil smile emoji as shown below. No one will have access to the message at this point.

well now you know your Just talk emojis so you can continue using the app for the fun and important things you use them for. The more the merrier so feel free to invite all your friends to join you in the new line of motivation.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me in the past and are still suporting me now. I'm very grateful and will forever be grateful. However I will still be needing some of your help to grow and add more features to the app. yes we've had over 500 users, but I think some more will help even more. You don't have to tell them about the future features of the app. Just what's there now. I bet we have friends who like sending voice notes and they may already be doing this on other apps like whatsapp and bbm. In our case you'll need not worry about your phone memory as the app already handles that. best of all, the message not only get's taken off your phone, but all off out server. Very safe and secure isn't it?. we cover your tracks. So please let your friends know. Just talk is an app for sending voice messages only and all messages get deleted after 24 hours. we're currently fixing the voice filters and improving the cast feature. I love that you love the app, but please let your friends enjoy the same.

We're back!!!.  I hope we didn't miss us too much as I haven't been away just enjoying myself. work is fun so I did a sizeable amount of that also as i spent some time in Rhodes, Greece (will upload pictures in future posts). Now, whats new?
A lot is new but not available for everyone yet as we're still testing and improving. Little we are but with big talent and great minds we have. To come in the next few days will be perfect walking filters a refined Cast feature and some bug fixes.

Friday is literally knocking on the door so I believe there are alot of smiles on our faces. Its been a busy week so far although it's been very short but we've all prevailed anyways, i'm quite convinced. Knowing your app (part 43) navigating through

Helo friends and family, aliens from outter space who obviously come in peace (we've established what peace means so no excude dear aliens). Many have download the app but not many know how well to use the app. at the moment you need add at least  one friend to be able to use the app properly. to record a message you have to select at least one contact. however it means you will have to ad atleast one person. It's pretty easy to do so. I've shared a link to show the search box.
There are three buttons/icons at the top of the screen. The one in the middle is the one we need. simply tap it to acess your profile and the search box to find your new contact. Feel free to add me and ask any questions. "keshjacobs" is my username. Its bank Holiday in Uk today so we'll be having a short working week which starts from tomorww. Less complaints about a long week once again.

Knowing your app (part 41) The future is near

Hello world amd veryone from outer space if you're reading this. and if you're an alien please come in peace (and "peace" is a good thing aliens, so don't misinterprete this). It's mid week everyone, the weekend is near and so is the brilliant new future of Just Talk - DTJT. We have now set out plans to bring all the features of the app to us a bit faster. Amongst many of the features of the app will be Free hands Just Talk. This will be the ability to listen to messages and reply to them without ever touching your message. Now imagine times this may be useful, perhaps whe we're walking down the street with our headphones on and perhaps when we're driving. Like we all know is terrible and against the law in many countries to text and drive. Many Lives has been lost doing that and we would like to reduce casualty numbers and support the cause sometime in the future #don'ttextanddrive.
What to expect in the next update: Better working cast. users wll be able to see the number of times their Cast was played, Bug fixes in voice filters and other bug fixes.

It was a very fast week. we only had 4 days of work. fridays will never stop putting smiles on everyone's faces. Hello world, I thought I'd leave somthing cool for you guys to tke into easter. A new version of Just talk. there should be no problems with notifications whatsoever. It has now been completely fixed as we had to re-write the codes for this.We are still working on a better and more improved cast. We believe it would be done by next week. With the cast feature you will be able to record, upload and share audio files even if you have no friend's on the app. You will be able to view the number of times your cast upload has been replayed and share this on facebook in the nearest future. Hello everyone. its monday today. Not the best day of the week for everyone but I think we'll be alright anyways. Today i'll like yto leave a little refresher of what Just Talk is all about. It is an app that has never been done before. It sets out itself as an alternative to texting and phone calls. Just Talk is a FREE IOS app that is used for sending Voice notes. Its a messenger. Unlike other's, Just Talk is for Voice Notes only. No texting whatsover. Just voice conversations and it allows users to change how they sound with a selection of voice filters. Discover when your wether your message has been opped or not with changing smileys. One Fone thing to note. All messages will be deleted after 24 hours regardless of weather they've been opened or not. You will see a smiley that indicates when an onuppened message has been deleted. We've only just integrated facebook login to the app and released the update 3 days ago. We hope you all have been loving it so far. Some of you may have noticed that this version also has developed the same Notificaton erros as before. Worry yourself no more. It has been looked into and sorted. A fresh new build will be uploaded today and released this week after testing. We hope this problem will not repeat itself. For a while we've been experiencing problems with notifications and that has been a buzz kill for many users. the app failked to deliver notifications for new messages and freind requests. This was obviously a big problem that lasted for almost a month. however it has been fixed now and all is back to speedy working conditions. Our Services do not provide access to emergency services or emergency services providers, including the police, fire departments, or hospitals, or otherwise connect to public safety answering points. You should ensure you can contact your relevant emergency services providers through a mobile, fixed-line telephone, or other service.

About our services

Registration. You must register for our Services using accurate data, provide your Name, surname, age and a unique user ID.

Devices and Software. You must provide certain devices, software, and data connections to use our Services, which we otherwise do not supply. For as long as you use our Services, you consent to downloading and installing updates to our Services, including automatically.

Fees and Taxes. You are responsible for all carrier data plan and other fees and taxes associated with your use of our Services.

Privacy policy and user data

Just Talk cares about your privacy. Just Talk’s Privacy Policy describes our information (including message) practices, including the types of information we receive and collect from you and how we use and share this information. You agree to our data practices, including the collection, use, processing, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy, as well as the transfer and processing of your information to the United Kingdom and other countries globally where we have or use facilities, service providers, or partners, regardless of where you use our Services. You acknowledge that the laws, regulations, and standards of the country in which your information is stored or processed may be different from those of your own country.

Acceptable use of our services

Our Terms and Policies. You must use our Services according to our Terms and posted policies. If we disable your account for a violation of our Terms, you will not create another account without our permission.

Legal and Acceptable Use. You must access and use our Services only for legal, authorized, and acceptable purposes. Harm to Just Talk or Our Users. You must not (or assist others to) access, use, copy, adapt, modify, prepare derivative works based upon, distribute, license, sublicense, transfer, display, perform, or otherwise exploit our Services in impermissible or unauthorized manners, or in ways that burden, impair, or harm us, our Services, systems, our users, or others, including that you must not directly or through automated means: (a) reverse engineer, alter, modify, create derivative works from, decompile, or extract code from our Services; (b) send, store, or transmit viruses or other harmful computer code through or onto our Services; (c) gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our Services or systems; (d) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services; (e) create accounts for our Services through unauthorized or automated means; (f) collect the information of or about our users in any impermissible or unauthorized manner; (g) sell, resell, rent, or charge for our Services; or (h) distribute or make our Services available over a network where they could be used by multiple devices at the same time.

Keeping Your Account Secure. You are responsible for keeping your device and your Just Talk account safe and secure, and you must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account or our Services.

Licenses

Your Rights. Just talk does not claim ownership of the information that you submit for your Just Talk account or through our Services. You must have the necessary rights to such information that you submit for your Just Talk account or through our Services and the right to grant the rights and licenses in our Terms.

Just Talk’s Rights. We own all domains, trace secrets associated with our Services. You may not use our domains, unless you have our express permission.

Your License to Kesh Jacobs LTD. In order to operate and provide our Services, you grant Just Talk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, display, and perform the information (including the content) that you upload, submit, store, send, or receive on or through our Services. The rights you grant in this license are for the limited purpose of operating and providing our Services (such as to allow us to display your profile name, transmit your messages, store your delivered messages on our servers.

Kesh Jacobs LTD’s License to You. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable license to use our Services, subject to and in accordance with our Terms. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use our Services, in the manner permitted by our Terms. No licenses or rights are granted to you by implication or otherwise, except for the licenses and rights expressly granted to you.

Reporting third-party copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property infringement

To report claims of third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property infringement, please message us at info@dtjt.co.uk. We may terminate your Just Talk  account if you repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Just Talk Parties from and against all liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) relating to, arising out of, or in any way in connection with any of the following: (a) your access to or use of our Services, including information provided in connection therewith; (b) your breach or alleged breach of our Terms; or (c) any misrepresentation made by you. You will cooperate as fully as required by us in the defense or settlement of any Claim.

Dispute resolution

Governing Law. The laws of the United KIngdom  govern our Terms, as well as any Disputes, whether in court or arbitration, which might arise between Kesh Jacobs LTD and you, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

• Unless a mutually executed agreement between you and us states otherwise, our Terms make up the entire agreement between you and us regarding Just Talk and our Services, and supersede any prior agreements.
• We may ask you to agree to additional terms for certain of our Services in the future, which will govern to the extent there is a conflict between our Terms and such additional terms.
• Our Services are not intended for distribution to or use in any country where such distribution or use would violate local law or would subject us to any regulations in another country. We reserve the right to limit our Services in any country.
• You will comply with all applicable U.K. and non-U.K. export control and trade sanctions laws (“Export Laws”). You will not, directly or indirectly, export, re-export, provide, or otherwise transfer our Services: (a) to any individual, entity, or country prohibited by Export Laws; (b) to anyone on U.K. or non-U.K. government restricted parties lists; or (c) for any purpose prohibited by Export Laws, including nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons, or missile technology applications without the required government authorizations. Just Talk LTD provides §audio messaging, voice changing, and other services to users around the world. Our Privacy Policy helps explain our information (including message) practices.  We do not listen to your sent or received messages.

• Your Messages. We do not listen t your messages. Messages are not accessible after 24 hours.

• Account Information. Your profile name, username and email may be available to anyone who uses our Services.

Knowing your app (part 29) Then Vs Now

In the rear case that some of you don't know what "DTJT" means. It means "Don't text Just talk". you will find it almost everywhere we write the name of the app. We're forever trying to pass a message. One day when we have headphones on and listening to music, we would get a message on just talk and reply without ever looking at your phone. Just Talk vision. Some people may find the app annoying when they first download it as they cannot use it because they do not have any friends or family member on it although i've been offering my username as their number 1 contact but that doesnt seem do the job of keeping users. Introducing once again, Just Talk Cast. Upload voice Notes on the go using real time voice changers and share it on your story page (Cast page) and on facebook. How about that for a change. Record, upload and share... The cast page would represent the story and discover page on Snapchat, Where your story would be called casts and casts will be voice messages only, and the discover page would be replaced by podcasts.

Knowing your app (part 27) happy mother's day.

Happy mother's day to every mother out there. Dead or alive you're still loved and would forever be loved. You shall not be forgotten and will forever be remembered. Massive thank you for all the sacrifices you've all made for your kids and we shall continue to cherish you forever. And to everyone  who has their mum alive and around I hope you treated her to something nice today. Wish you the best of weeks.
